View Menu


Overview

The View Menu simply toggles the Status Bar and the Scale Display on or off.

Status Bar

The Status Bar appears along the bottom of the EZScale window and displays information in four sections:

Generate/do-it2.gif    Section 1 (starting at the far left) displays the User name and the time and date the user logged on to the EZScale program.

Generate/do-it2.gif    Section 2 displays the scale status. This is the same information displayed in the Scale Display discussed below.

Generate/do-it2.gif    Section 4 displays the current time.

Scale Display

The scale display is a window that floats on top of other windows and displays the current scale reading or status.

Generate/do-it2.gif    ??? means the EZScale is polling (ask the scale) for a reading.

Generate/do-it2.gif    ... means that the scale is not connected or is disabled.

Generate/do-it2.gif    The colors can vary to indicate Tare, Gross, Stable and Unstable and are defined under Tools | Options | Scale Codes.

 

You can move and resize the scale display and EZScale will remember its size and where you put it each time it is displayed. For the scale display to function, your computer must be properly connected to an electronic scale head and EZScale must be configured under Tools | Options | Scale Settings and Tools | Options | Comm Port.
