Main Program Window
Overview
Below is the main EZScale window showing the title bar, menu system and status bar along the bottom of the window.
Title Bar
Displays the EZScale program name. You can only have one instance of EZScale running at a time.
Menu
Use the menu along the top of the window to access all of EZScale's features. Many of the menu choices have shortcut keys associated with them such as pressing F9 for ticketing. Click on one of the menu options below for more information on that topic:
File
is where you Log Off
to secure the program or so that another user can log. It is also where you'll find the Exit command to
close the program entirely.
View
lets users toggle the status bar and scale display on or off.
Tasks
groups the most common functions in EZScale including Ticketing,
Zeroing the Scale, Transmitting
Data to Accounting, and Running Reports.
Maintain
is where you maintain all your related information used by EZScale such as Customers
and Vendors, Jobs,
Purchase
Orders, Inventory,
Trucks, Drivers,
Etc.
Tools
groups features that let you design reports or tickets, view logs of activity, compact the database or
edit program options.
Window
displays options for arranging the child windows displayed in EZScale.
Help
is where you access EZScale on-line help and related program information.
Displays status information about the current EZScale session. The status bar can be toggled on or off under the View menu.
