CV Types
Overview
Customer & Vendor Types (CV Types) are used to categorize your Customers and Vendors (CV's).
You can get to this form by selecting Maintain | CV Types from the menu or by clicking a lookup icon
on a form field labeled CV Types.
The use of CV Types is optional. You don't have to categorize your CV's at all. But if you want to, common categories are Customer, Vendor, Both, Non-Profit, Government, Etc. The maximum number of CV Types is unlimited.
Common Elements
The Toolbar, ID, Description and Inactive elements function the same for all forms under the Maintain menu. Default values for new records can be defined by editing the Default Record.
